Who we are

CFA Home is an online home and lifestyle store selling wall art, home decor, and furnishings. For the purposes of data protection law, CFA Home is the “data controller” responsible for your personal information.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to run the store and get your order to you.

Information you give us directly:

  • Name, email address, phone number.
  • Billing and shipping addresses.
  • Order history and product preferences.
  • Anything you send us by email or contact form.
  • Account login details, if you create an account.

Information collected automatically:

  • IP address, browser type, and device information.
  • Pages viewed, time on site, and how you arrived.

What we don’t store: Full payment card numbers. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor and never touch our servers. We only see confirmation that a payment succeeded, plus the last few digits for your reference.

How we use it

We use your data to:

  • Send order confirmations, shipping updates, and returns correspondence.
  • Respond to your questions and support requests.
  • Manage your account, if you have one.
  • Improve the site, our products, and how they’re presented.
  • Send marketing emails only if you’ve opted in, and you can leave any time

  • Meet our legal and tax obligations.

We do not use your data for anything you wouldn’t reasonably expect from a store you bought from.

Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information. We share it only with the partners who help us operate:

  • Support emails – for a reasonable period after your query is resolved.

When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

Your rights

  • Correct anything inaccurate.
  • Delete your data, where we’re not required to keep it.
  • Object to or restrict how we use it.

Marketing emails

If you’ve opted in, we may email you about new collections, offers, and styling ideas. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out instantly it won’t affect any order you’ve placed or your ability to shop with us again.

Children’s privacy

CFA Home is intended for adults. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their information, email us and we’ll delete it.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures encryption in transit, restricted access, and vetted providers to keep your information safe. No online system is ever completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share and to act quickly if something goes wrong.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our business or the law changes. The current version always lives on this page, with the “Last updated” date at the top reflecting the latest revision. Significant changes will be flagged on the site.
